Welcome to The Oakes of Willow Creek, a story that wasn’t originally going to be a blog. I initially planned to just play this not-quite-legacy just for fun, but I came up with some drama, and I just had to recreate it for a blog. I say not-quite-legacy because although it does start with a single sim on a big empty 50×50 lot, I wasn’t following all the Legacy rules, and used mods like Maia Game’s Sugar Baby mod for story purposes, as well as having my good friend TwoFlower97 renovate one of my own builds to work on Oakenstead in Willow Creek so that my sim can live there. So while I will be staying on the Oakenstead lot for ten generations, this story is less of a Legacy Challenge and more of a just-for-fun storyline.
The first few chapters may be a little rushed and all over the place, until the chapter where the house is revealed. This is because I was trying to recreate the story from memory, and some things did change in the recreation.
I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoy writing and playing it!
