Prologue – Dawn of Simanity

Gen 01 || Chapter 01.001

The Watcher was bored. Very bored. What was the point in being an all-powerful divine being if there wasn’t any intelligent life to notice Them? None of the animals in the world were able to comprehend Them. And the Watcher wanted attention, dammit!

So They decided to create intelligent life. They took a fish from the ocean and a flower from a bush. Then, using Their divine power, They turned the fish and flower into intelligent creatures. The very first Sims.

The two Sims’ eyes met, and it was love at first sight. And the Watcher saw that, and was pleased. They had created a species with consciousness, a race that would be able to know and understand Them. The perfect creatures to give the Watcher the adulation and adoration that They craved.

“Go forth in the world,” the Watcher told Their new followers. “Take care of the land, and bring forth many children to inherit it.”

And so, they did.
